The Border City Fire Department was origanilly named Border City Hose Company which is located
at 3000 Fallbrook Street,Geneva NY. A second fire house was built in 1950 due to heavy train traffic
slowing down response time, It necessitated the establishment of the Serven Fire company located on Routes 5 & 20. Even though our fire district has two stations, we are all one dedicated group of
volunteer firefighters that proudly claim the name Border City Fire Department.
Our district serves over 3,500 people, covers 20 square miles and provides mutual aide to all the
surounding Fire Departments. Many of out firefighters are Scuba Divers, EMT'S, First Responders, Fire Police besides members of the Seneca County Haz-Mat team and the Fire Investigataion Team.
