The Border City Fire Dept was originally named Border CIty Hose Company which is located at 3000 Fallbrook Street, Geneva, NY. The name was changed in 1950, due to heavy train traffic slowing down response time, it necessitated the establishment of the Serven's Fire Company located on Routes 5 & 20. Even though our fire district has two stations, we are all one dedicated group of volunteer firefighters that proudly claim we are from the Border City Fire Department.

Our district serves over 3,500 people, covers 20 square miles and provides mutual aide to all the surrounding Fire Departments. Many of our firefighters are Scuba Divers, EMTs, Fire Police besides members of the Seneca County HazMat Team and the Fire Investigation Team.
